Thumbs down No bass in jersey.

Just finished my freshen year at Seton Hall Prep and the dynamite trout season a few weeks ago and this is my first full day on the water.Ive gone in a few trips on friends boats including today, today is the first we didn't catch. This is the first time I remembered to report this year..... But there is nothing to report except for large schools of bunker with big blues in the mix. I heard there was a bite in New York in the mornings. That's all the action I've heard of. I do know of some big bass caught but not in large concentration. As far as I know I'm done with bass until next summer... Always nice to be on the water.

A lot of people giving up on the Stripers right now, which I think is a bit premature. It certainly isn't as easy as it was this time last spring but they are around.

First thing in the morning and evenings will be best.

Last year they never left and those who targeted them, were patient and knew where and when to go caught huge ones, all the way through August.

Takes years to become a Bass Master, Throwing in the towel isn't the way to reach that goal.........Just cause you Fish, doesn't mean you catch!
