Default Roman Round / 5/21 Twilight

Left dock at 3:00 took a ride with Capt. Nelson looking for marks. Didn't find much looking where he had reports of where the bass were, so we went looking some more. A few minutes later we set anchor and and game on.......for blues, started to pick a few striped ones. I did my normal thing this year and reeled in a short, a little while later (and a lot of bluefish later) New Tony reeled in a nice bass. Went trolling for awhile without much success (except bluefish) Capt.Nelson set anchor again and my buddy Old Tony hooked a beautiful 40" striped one. Went back to blue city until about the end when new Tony had another keeper. Another great day on the water with Capt. Nelson, mates Andrew and Pat and the Tony's.Click image for larger version

Sorry I couldn't make the trip with you guys last nite Bob.
Capt. Nelson & the Roman'Round crew run a great boat.
Staten Island Tony---hopefully we'll get some flat ones as well as pajama fish tomorrow.
See you then.

Tight lines all,
Tom K.
