Just curious
seeing alot of Striper limits being posted still even after the regs changes.
Yet not seeing many pics of fish over 43" Just a few here and there. Hoping guys know the new regs are in EFFECT http://www.njfishandwildlife.com/pdf...maregsum15.pdf

I'm not a striper guy, so thanks for posting in case I decide to go & keep a fish......
But you're saying all these capt's you are proudly posting "BANNER DAY", "STRIPER SLAUGHTER" - "EPIC DAY" ...ETC. are all breaking the law...BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. I would say a handful and I mean a handful of pics posted are fish over 43". This is awesome!!!!

I actually think its clever advertising. The Limits read 1 fish pp @ 28" to less than 43" and 1 fish pp @ 43 or greater so you have 6 people on board and keep 6 fish within that 28 to less than 43 range so then you have a "Limit" catch for that size range. The fact they don't specify that they got the lower size limit and not the upper size limit is mute. Let them post.
I also think we don't give enough credit to the for hire posters that follow the rules always even when said rules are designed to crush their business. Firmly believe that 99% of the for hire posters here care about protecting all the species and are true conservationists like yourself. Understand your passion about protecting Stripers but more is gained by sticking together than apart.
