Default Trout fishing tournament

Hello all, New to the site. Been lurking for years, finally joined lol.

Just a heads up to everyone there is a trout fishing tournament going on April 11th. Sponsored by Raritan PBA. Open to everyone. Think the registration is $30/adult and $10/kid. Lots of prizes including charter trips, rods and reels, fishing gear etc. There is also refreshments at mandatory AM registration and burgers/dogs at weigh in picnic.

Rules are you must fish in Somerset county. If anyone is interested shoot me a message. I'll be happy to answer any further questions.

Additional info: Tournament is 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. There is an adult category 18+ and youth 17 and under. Registration starts at 6am at the soccer fields in Raritan NJ (On Orlando Drive across from Riverpark Apartment Complex). Weigh in and picnic starts at 2pm. All fish must be brought to weigh in by 4pm.

Again April 11th! One day event, open to anyone and everyone. Fishing is limited to any body of water within Somerset county. Any questions shoot me a pm or post on here. Should be a great event. Hoping to get families and kids. Lot of donated prizes including charter fishing trips, custom rod gift certificates, rod&reel combos, tackle, etc.

Thanks and tight lines!

Have you received a lot of feedback/ angler interest since creating this event? I'm interested. Sounds like a good time.

Bring it to the top! There's a very good man running this contest. You may or may not know him. He might have checked your cooler or asked for your fishing license at one time or another. LOL!!!

SOMERSET COUNTY! Come out and play on April 11th!!! Sounds like an AWESOME time to me!

Just an idea. I would include a list of fishable waters in Somerset county so anglers know the boundaries. You can fish anywhere from the Passaic river in Bernard's, North Branch in Branchburg, Middle brook and some nice spots down in Franklin Township. There's a lot of water to cover in Somerset county. Just a thought! Hope this works out. Love the competition factor as most men and women do. Having a kids category is a bonus, get em outside and let them enjoy life the way it should be. Sitting inside is becoming to popular these days. Let's get em!!!

And we all appreciate your effort. You and the CJ Stream Team and anyone else involved are the reason anglers like myself are loving rivers more and more. Keep it clean! Live the dream! See something, say something! It helps more than people actually realize. Round of applause for the men and women keeping our rivers safe and fresh.........👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
