![]() I have a bus bar in the overhead and a toggle switch mounted...but can't get the wire through the T top tube. It's s straight shot and I'll figure out the mount for the spreader light I want to add. Tried the snake I have but its a tape kind and may be too tight.
Anyone interested in making a couple bucks after work and run a wire for me? Northern Monmouth co. Thanks

![]() vacuum a piece of dental floss through the holes. then pull a piece of masons line in to pull the wire through with.
You have to feed the wire while keeping tension on the mason line, and it will go easier than IF you are pulling the wire with the line. stagger the head on the wire , so it threads through the holes easier, pull out extra , and then even them up for final install

![]() just another way if its a up right with a hole top an bottom use some mono with a split shot. then fish the bottom with a stiff wire. then stagger the wire on the mono, tape with duct length wise.make sure you put a bushing in the hole after you pull the wire, this to stop rub through. also fuse the supply side an the buss side.

![]() The run is only 4-5 feet and horizontal along the center support. I've heard the vacuum idea but the dental floss is a new one that sounds like it might work. Cover is coming off this weekend (buying a new house and selling at the same time has cause boat prep delays).
Thanks for all the suggestions and will give it a whirl.

![]() I may be stating the obvious, but make sure you use marine wire. The strands on marine & automotive are much thinnner and more flexible than household THHN and its ilk.
