![]() I was in the Orlando area last week for vacation. Stayed at a Marriot property with a nice lake that hardly anyone fishes. Nice largemouth fishing and there were tilapia spawning all over the place. Tilapia are plankton eaters but I found they are somewhat protective of their nests and hit our swim baits once in a while. We didn't target them but caught some real nice ones anyway. Lots of fish but only snapped a couple of pictures. Had a nice nocturnal visitor (armadillo) and saw some small gators and one about 8' long but couldn't get any good picture. All in all a great vacation with plenty of fish.

That's awesome. I'll be in Boca Raton over Easter weekend and I hope to do something similar. I'll be much closer to the ocean, so I may have very limited freshwater opportunities, though. .

![]() I couldn't get the armadillo to take anything, lol! Never saw one before it was pretty cool looking. Couldn't get any gators close this year. Last year I was feeding them ham in one of the canals
