With opening day approaching what is your go to bait or lure when targeting stocked rainbows ? Looking forward to a great season.

In the lakes, Velveeta Cheese. Streams, anything with lots of color, spinners work great.

Mikes pink shrimp salmon eggs are deadly, when the fish turn off to bait because of pressure I switch to a gold ribbed hares ear

Alright, I have to give this a shot Andy. Mainly because I want to see the look on my friends faces when I pull a brick of velvetta out the box. If it doesn't catch fish at least I'll have a snack

White 1/8 oz. Roostertails with silver blades caught them the best for me back when they were last stocked in our area three years ago. Joe's Spinner Fly's also worked pretty good. Anything flashy should do the job.
