Default Sunday With Capt Matt

Went out with Capt Matt and the NK3 gang today. Had second thought about going but I'm glad I did. Got 3 keepers with one stop shopping. Thanks to Capt Matt for rolling the dice and heading east! Big one took the pool at 8.5lbs and the other was 6. Two nice fish on a windy day. A nice Happy birthday to Capt who also had one about 9 or 10 lbs. Fish scattered around the boat with a nice 8 or 9 lb cod in the mix.

Thanks To all! I think we would have more fish if not for the wind. The wind was coming around and we wouldn't sit right at times, Capt made adjustments to keep the bite going. Some fish would really wack it others would scratch at it. Again glad I went but that may be it for me. Good Luck all. P.S. Cod trip planned for, I think Feb. 10th, check NK3 website for update.
