Gambler Sat 1/3
Decided to stay away from the toggies today and do some mid range wreck fishing on the Gambler. Always love this boat...fast, warm, good crew., and the coffee was hot. Gotta thank Captain Bob for heading out today with a very light number of fares. He could have easily sent us on our way but instead took us out to the grounds. Mates knew they were not gonna make a ton of $ today based on the amount of fares but that did not stop them from being professionals. Fishing...well it sucked. It's that time of year and sometimes the doggies and silvers get the best of you. Captain made a bunch of drops for us and wiggled on each wreck.
I truly feel bad for these boat owners. They should be offshore on the sea bass grounds with full load of fares, instead they are getting royally screwed. Can't wait to head back out with them soon. |

Was on the boat friday also with a small crowd. Hats off to the capt for taking us. Lots of dog's and eels, three keepers on the boat but not for lack of trying. Solid outfit the gambler.

Re: Gambler Sat 1/3
I was on a marathon sea bass trip with them last week. Absolutely one of my best trip of all time. Great boat, great crew, on fish all day. I can't wait for next year's seabass trip. Now if they could streamline the reservations.....
