Party boat ANGLER Thursday report
Today we had a plan and we stuck to it. With a west wind and flood tide for most of the morning I knew we would have no drift in the reach so We headed down the beach. Made a quick stop up north but the water was dirty and not much drift. I ran till the water cleaned and we found a few shorts and one fluke that was missing his tail and had that not happened to him he would have been someones dinner. Went further south and only found shorts. I started back north wanting to be in the Reach for the tide change. Stopped where we had had short life and managed a keeper.
Steamed back north and to the reach for the tide change and it was disappointing. We had a drift but only a few shorts and keepers. The big fish did not want to chew. It was a tough day to be a party boat captain . No doubt yesterdays weather got us.
7:00 AM sailing tomorrow and we have a score to settle.
Thanks captain George
