![]() This is not to start a sheeet storm or who can post the best other guys an ass story but I am conflustered about drifting rules. This is not to name or blame and I assure you it was not a sponsor.
Set up on a fluke drift for 5 minutes out in Scotland area. No channels, no anchors. I look up and a party boat has pulled up from a distance to pull side ways in front of my drift. Within a minute this boat who was chasing blues has the entire side tossing metals off my anchor. Looking up I try to see if he will power off seeing the danger of the situation and that I didnt have my invisi bat ray on - I tried to get the captain on the radio and get his attention. He ignored both. So the question is- who should move? Should I be pissed? I am sure he would have been pissed had I done it - and I do realize people do it all the time.....but what is right thing here.

![]() The name of that boat says it all. He was doing the same thing at the mud buoy. Boat under power must give way.

![]() Its not about party boats at all, personal craft do the same dumb thing. And yes the boat name speaks a bit about what to expect but ive been around the boat before and seems to keep his sheat together. I gave him ample time to power off.....
