Default A good day on the DS. I think

Was joined last minute by cubasfinest and his cousin (or something). Made some calls and decided to go south. Found crystal clear 74* water and tossed the jigs in. It didn't take long for me to get the first keeper at 19 inches. A little while later both Cuba and I hook into simultaneous big fish! His comes up first mine right after. A couple of five pounders! A little while later I get slammed and drop a seven on the deck. This fish was a two tone fluke. Gotta check out the pick up close. Weighed her, kissed her, and let her go as I had enough meat.

I ended the day with four keepers. Smallest 19 inches, two fives and a seven that I let go. Kevin had two very nice keepers and his cousin none. We all had enough shorts in the mix to keep us busy.

As I said, no limit. So I can't decide if it was a good day. I'm leaning towards yes!

Smallest fish is 19 in the deck shot
