7-28-14 Not to bad out here today,,it looked like it was gonna be nasty this morning but it cleared up and was really nice...Gusty west winds kept the ocean flat ....good drift to...Fishing was decent I thought,,,loads of bites early on,,,alot of 17 inch fish....Few keepers each drift....then it got kinda dull for a few drifts and we headed up the beach and in the afternoon we found some quality fish in the bigger rocks to the north...Nothing real big but some 3-4lbs.fish..I myself managed to hook three nice fish up to 3lbs..and a few others did 2-3 nice ones....some sea bass.....overall I thought it was decent...I think if we had more guys casting jigs instead of rentals rods we would have seen more keepers...The jigs had the advantage for sure,,,,,I had fifteen pound leader on a rig of death and had 3 nice fish in about ten casts..They wanted the light stuff,,,the water is very clear...Tomorrow and the rest of the week look AWESOME!!!!See ya for coffee tomorrow!!!pics
