Re: yeti cooler
If you have a requirement to keep ice for more than a day or two they are worth it. If not, save your money.

Re: yeti cooler
If you are tough on coolers like I am I think they are worth it. My coolers typically last 2-3 seasons but the yeti will last a long time. That being said I don't own any because I never have the cash to put down when I need to replace a cooler.

Re: yeti cooler
I had a large Yeti marine cooler on board for basically offshore Tuna space .
Since other coolers available were smaller . Held up very well BUT if UR an average user I would opt for standard marine coolers . Durability is not up to par with Yeti style BUT I personally have kept ice for days in ordinary marine coolers AS long as u kept it closed ! U can literally buy several of the standard for the price of one of Yeti style . They r good if u require what it may offer otherwise standards R fine in 90% of cases. |

Re: yeti cooler
I won one last year
They are very havey for their size I found the capacity versus weight does not work well Does keep the ice longer and are built like a tank |

Re: yeti cooler

Re: yeti cooler
I have a Yeti & Pelican 65qt. The Yeti is nice but the Pelican is my choice. Pelican also has a lifetime warranty (not sure on Yeti) and no rubber latches to dry-rot. As others have stated, they are tight on inside space and are a bit heavy. I've easily had ice last close to a week in the Pelican. Hope this helps.

Here's a follow up just in case you needed a comparison between the 2.
