Captain Matt reports the weekend turned out to be beautiful weather wise since the hurricance past off our coast Friday. Fluke fishing was slow for us over the weekend the captain says. Just a few keepers on each trip along with a decent amount of Sea Bass and Ling. However, fishing was a little better on Sunday with good action on shorts with a few keepers coming over the rail. Looked like the nuclear chicken and green gulps worked the best to pick out the bigger Fluke. Also there was some nice size seabass and ling in the mix. The Fluke bite should only get better as the water warms up from week to week!!!!
No luck with the Bluefish yet Matt says. He did see some 1-2lbers swimming around the boat Saturday night but could not get them to bite. We did anchor up over some rough bottom and put together a decent catch of Ling and a few Sea Bass but we are STILL NOT GIVING UP LOOKING FOR THE BLUES! Usually this time of year, the smaller ones start schooling up and biting good so hopefully we can find them and start catching them as well!!!
Sailing everyday 8am-12:30pm and 2pm-6:30pm for fluke and 7:30pm to 1am for blues!!!!
