Conditions and pike getting better !

I didn't plan on hitting the river this morning, but after a quick 90 minute paddle yesterday morning with 3, low 20's inch pike landed, I hit a different section today. The water was much clearer in this section and with only fishing about an hour, it was great action.

I wound up landed 4 pike today, with 2 being about 24 inches and 1 about 28 inches. I was ready to leave the river for work, but decided to try one more spot that was about a 5 minute paddle away. Great looking water, weeds and about 6 feet deep. Second cast and I landed the best of the day at 33 inches.

The river is finally starting to clear up and the pike are hungry !!

Good to see your still on em Dan! Nice looking Pike you got there. The river is alive and well. Pike are on the feed and the weather looks good for the week so far. Catching time!!!

P.S. Would you happen to have any wild boar in that freezer of yours, LOL???!!!

HA !!! Sorry, no wild boar but still plenty of venison. Let me know !
