Big Jamaica weekend - 6-15
Sunday 6-15
We had great weather Saturday and Sunday. Fishing was tough Saturday and Saturday night. Today we started to see more of the smaller blues move inshore and we caught some on every drift. Some drifts were better than others. We did that all day and at the end of the day there were big schools of large striped bass feeding on the surface. We made several drifts and read plenty of bass under the boat. Several times we could see them on the surface. We hooked up several on Crocs and jigs The largest bass weighed 45lbs. The others were 30 to 35lbs. We will probably be doing the same route this week. Blues for most of the day then look for the afternoon bite of stripers. (Unless they want to bite in the morning too). The big Jamaica is scheduled to sail everyday at 730am for Striped Bass and blues. We are also scheduled to sail every night for bluefish at 730pm. For further information call 732-528-5014
