Default Saturday Raritan Bay Ghost town

Was out on the tow boat Saturday.

Weather was perfect. Lack of fishermen was easy to see. Very few boats out.

Stayed in the bay and collected an array of "Catches". 3 large rays, a 10 inch fluke, and a 2 pound blue fish.

Lots of bait everywhere.

What's going on? All that/s worthy is off shore bass?

Cool Re: Saturday Raritan Bay Ghost town

This doesn't surprise me too much. With very high price of owning a boat on top of the crazy rules and regulations that make it very hard to put a decent catch together except for the sharpies I think people are getting out of the owning a boat business. Owning a boat is a great thing but it has become out of reach for the average guy! One thing good...the less boats the more fish! I could be wrong but that's my two cents!

Nah , i think its the fact just not alot of fish to be caught right so why waste fuel ....if th fishing was better more boats would be out ......people dont have money unless its for something they enjoy like fishing and boating , but will be frugul about it if the fishing sucks .
