6/8 Striped bass report

Fished with my buddy on his contender, left the Navesink at 0530. Found our bait and was one and done with the wells full. Fished nice and close to home ocean side and had blow ups all day on our bunker. The two guys on board aside fromthe captain and myself were slightly inexperienced so I was getting the hookups and passing off the rods. We went 6 for 9 and countless blowups. First few fish we had were all 20 class fish and the last two we found in some deeper water were in the 30-40 class range by estimation. Probably more like 35 if I had to put money on it. Awesome day. Back to the dock by 1130.
