Tuna Tales Wednesday 06-04 Sharking - 130 LB Class Mako!!
Darren took out friends Joe, Nick, Nicholas and Zack for sharking.
Not many shark reports up this way...they left at 4:00 am and headed offshore set up and fought and released 7 blue sharks in great conditions and some fog. Around 3:40 pm they had a Mako hook up which then ran to the bow, jumped and spit the hook. The Mako comes back and takes the bait and this time they get a good hook up...the Mako went crazy. 5 huge jumps...down, around (almost in my engines)... They finally got a fly gaff in it...perfect eating size and our first one for the 2014 shark season!! Nice job guys! Back at it asap.... Joe T.

Thanks for the report Joe! Good to hear they are out there already....Tourney and "fun" trips scheduled 3rd and 4th weeks of the month. Should only get better from here....
