Keyport - Sea Hawk Weekend Report

Came out of Keyport bright and early on Sat, ran around til we marked some fish. Set up shop and threw the lines in. Managed 4 stripers on the 1st drop, 1 short and 3 keepers up to 20lbs. All 3 fish ranged from 35 to 39inches and weighing 16-20 lbs. Bite stopped, so we picked up and moved, decided to try drifting the bunker chunkers and within 45 seconds of dropping lines in water, poles were bending. Bluefish everywhere. Couldnt get lines down fast enough. Headed back into bay to try for a couple more stripers, but nothing but bluefish up to 12lbs.. Good day in all.
