Default 5/2 - Dirty Water

Went out this AM to spot check the aftermath of the storm.

Bait was scattered, grounds are a mess.

Wood / crap like you cant imagine.

I wish it was chocolate milk. It was more like diharrea.

Spot checked a few spots. Not a touch at first light.

Only had until 830 to fish. Last thirty minutes things started to pick up after a few moves.

Thanks for the report... Going to take several tides to clean things up back there but I would bet it's better the further east you go.

Read 2 reports both from sponsors (1 a charter boat and the other a party boat) from this morning. The charter boat reported being limited out by 8:45 and the party boat reported a good bite. Both boats are from the Highlands/Atlantic Highlands area.

Cool beans skolmann. That's encouraging considering the grounds I covered were littered.

I'm curious if the bite was later (as in 8AM - 10AM) vs first light.
