Default Freshwater fun with jen

had to take advantage of the nice day. hit a shallow weedy lake in Bucks, wind was howling walked back to some coves to get out of the wind butfound nothing. finally got jen her first fish of 14 a lil bluegilll. we packed up & got in T'challa to hit another lake, went to this 1 & again wind cranking & alot of people s he headed to another & same thing white caps almost on this 1 so i pulled the rabbit out.

Went to a tiny lake that always produced bluegills really early in the year & is tucked away. Got there & imediately jen got into some panfish & then landed areal nice yellow perch. She proceeded to land 5 yellow perch & countless bluegills & a pumpkinseed! I saw some "locals" land a few bass so i put on a hook &a shaw grigsby van dam roland martin super duper soft plastic (a nightcrawler) & was immediately greeted with a nice dark green chunk. Beautiful day out & nothing better than seeing her happy to land those perch! She also was introduced to the spawning cycle of the male yellow perch........i told her she should feel flattered!
