Default Millstone 4/13

Fished the river between Wilhousky and Amwell. Caught 1 small pickerel. No pike

Lots of big pickerel over there. I don't know about pike, I'm yet to see one but lots of nice structure and good looking spots.

Nice job man, like Gatto said lots of pickerel in that stretch, some decent bass here and there but I've only seen one pike about 21in in the last few years and we put a lot of time in there.

Better than I did on 5+ miles of the Raritan yesterday lol.

Thats the raritan for you, hit or miss. Give it another 3 weeks, may is usually good on that river. Where did you go, the stretch below the ladder?

Duke Island Park to Duke Park in Manville. No signs of fish life except for one dead Trout where we launched. Tossed swimbaits and jerkbaits with no luck.

Water was 60deg. There were a lot of good laydowns, but no fish on them or they just didnt want to bite. Was throwing mostly spinners... The pike are like that in Farrington too. I have only caught 1 in my life and I never see any reports either. Where do 1600 pike go

I think they swim up the coast and into the Passaic .
