Out of Hatteras inlet, I second Big Tahuna with Kenny Koci, he is great to fish with. He will give you a 110pct and is willing to shift gears to put fish in the boat. He is also one of the only boats that offers overnighters. If you are looking for a bottom experience, look up capt Patrick on the Lil Clam. Inshore guides that I fish with often is. Capt. Ricky Jones and. Capt Ken Dempsey.

Out of Oregon Inlet, I highly recommend Capt. Fin Gaddy on the Qualifier.

Many great choices out of both inlets, it's tough to not find a good boat! Good luck!

Pirates Cove Marina in Manteo,NC. which is just outside of Nags Head is the home of the Obsession. He is one of the best in that area. At Oregon Inlet I'd recommend the Bi-Op- Sea. You will not go wrong w/ either Captain.

Hope all is well down there John ,
def would like to head down and catch some of those big grouper again.

Procastinator def has a good handle on many of the different species you can fish for in NC.
good tackle and a nice ride.

AND he fishes on his days off, something that to me shows how much a captain NEEDS to be on the water.
