FISH TANK - Sat 12/21 Report
It was great to finally get back out on the water on Sat after having been stuck on land for the past few weeks. We broke the inlet around 6:15 and headed up north to where Capt. Tommy left off on Friday. We had a decent pick on the first drop with most of the fish caught being keeper size.
After a couple more wiggles and a few more fish in the box, the shorts and doggies started to move in and kept us busy with an occasional keeper here and there. The final tally for the day was 15 keeper tog up to 6lbs, a bunch of shorts and a lone cod fish. We pulled the hook a little earlier than usual and headed back to the barn because the S wind started to kick up. It was definitely the right call because we battled 5-8'ers on the ride home, but the guys hung in there and were rewarded with a good amount of fillets back at the dock.
The good news is that we should have some very nice weather for a change towards the end of the week. We still have spots available on Thurs, Fri, and the weekend. Please call or email me if you would like to reserve your spot at the rail.
Tight Lines!
~Capt. Kevin Hutnik
