Great Day on the Mimi VI - Thursday 12-19
Very impressed with the operation that Capt. Ken and Chris run on the Mimi VI. First time fishing with them and they are consummate professionals on top of the blackfish game. MVP, Anthony and I had a great trip with a number of large fish hitting the deck. I had a pair of 9 pounders and won the pool by a nose. Whites put the bigger fish in the box late in the day.

Well, I don't know about a great day? Only one keep for me and not many bites ...for me. Missed my good bites, blew up a reel, totally unorganized anal me. I am an addict, over prepared, fish hard and usually do very well, but.....just not my day. Some nice 9 and 10 pounders caught all around the boat. Yikes! But only my bad and I took home the toilet bowl throne award of the day for all the shit, including the raze from Kenny and Chris's busting! My catch of the day should have been a picture sitting on that throne with rod in hand. Ha! Still loved the day, always a bunch of great guys to fish the Mimi with and Capt Kenny and mate/capt Chris are always tops! Cant wait for nextweek! Dennis
