Mixed bag on the mimi
It was good to be on the mimi again with some very good old friends, including Kenny and Chris! Started off with a lot of bird life with blues under them. The fish were fast movers and would not stay up for long. Not a surprise with the 1.3 million boats out there
 we ended up with all the blues you wanted and June got the 20 pound pool fish. The only striper in the mix for us. With sore arms from the demons it was time to go toggin  . Set up on a piece and had some life right away. Very picky life, but life. Some shorts came up and a few very nice biscuits. I finally get my chance with a nice thump, I nice feisty 4/5 pounder (my LAB limit ). I ended the day with my one keeper and a handful of shorts.All in all a very nice day spent with great people. Be back on the mimi opening day! PS. Almost forgot to mention the gourmet feast provided by June, it was all great, thanks June!

you are welcome steve, it was my pleasure.
jimmy mac invited me on a black fish trip a couple of years ago, i did not know how to black fish,(still dont) , but was welcomed aboard by capt.kenny, capt chris, and some great peeps, the rest is history.i love to fish on the mimi, invited a few new peeps on this trip, and they already are down for up comming trips.  congrats on that chubby pigglett you got steve, and i love" the tales of the shrimpman" thanks keven(kmatty) ill see you on the fishermen thank you capt.kenn and capt.chris for a great day on the water

Saturday is a charter.
Joey we have been full on this trip for sometime, but we have the mimi almost every weekend of the season, I'll send you some dates where we still have room. I know u need all the practice you can get for the puosu.
