Default Fishing Blues

Well I'm tired of not fishing in this pitiful weather and wind. So I would say for the last 6 days I have restrung my poles, cleaned my reels and tied god only knows how many black fish rigs. Dear God please push out this bad fishing weather out quickly so I don't hurt myself or others during this dark no fishing time. Amen

Only people that are fair weather fishermen would complain about this great weather.

I hear you.... This fair weather fisherman is getting pretty testy being locked up in the house too.

I would tie some rigs too but my snells tend to slip, especially when other people are fishing with them

My philosophy: The fish are already wet so they don't mind the rain

However when it is really really bone chillingly cold out you will only find me fishing if I'm working or its some kind of special trip i dont want to put off.

Anyone who likes good fresh salt air, moderately breezy 25-30 knot winds, and bracing sidewise rain.... I need to clean the bow rail on the boat, chase some wiring, fix an oil transfer pump, check all the engine fluids..... and all of this fun is going to be done tomorrow afternoon and any help will be appreciated !!!!

Captain Rich, if there is any remote chance of lightening; don't forget to go up there to fix the antenna.

I'd probably get blown out of the tower by the wind before the lightning could fine me.

I will probably tuck in and set up on the sod banks this weekend with some eels and see if anything wants to jump on the line.
