Golden Eagle - Sunday Monster Blues 20 Plus Lbs, Striper's & Albies

MONSTER Blues to 20 plus lbs. Striped Bass to 18lbs and Albies.

We had it all going on today, we picked at the MONSTER Blues with 5 fish over 20lbs, we had a couple of Stripers in the 18lb range and we had some shots at the Albacore.

Everything was on jigs or croc's today and we ended up with a very nice catch of fish.

The calendar is about to change to October and it looks like the Striper's are starting to wake up.

The GOLDEN EAGLE sails daily for Blues & Stripers at 7:30am and Saturday nights for Blues at 7:30pm from Belmar Marina in Belmar, NJ.

Before the crap even starts. Here was today's route of fishing. We started at the mud buoy today where the albies
Were landed! Then we steamed into the rocks where we jigged the BIG BLUES and The BASS were landed ! Then home.

I was onboard and can vouch for that. We sadly left the incredibly clean waters of the mud buoy (almost oxymoronic, no?) and waved goodbye to the albies (but no blues) there and went inshore to where this unbelievable, unprecedented and lengthy run of HUGE bluefish continued. These fish seemed even bigger then usual with a handfull over 20lbs. What a contrast from those July pee wees! Talk about both ends of the spectrum.
