Default Chasin'tail Hudson Canyon Trip

Headed out to the deep Friday afternoon with Chris, Scott, and Rob.. Got on the troll in the deep and worked toward the east elbow. 15min into the troll we have a nice white marlin on which we get to the boat an release. First marlin on my boat. Great way to start. We continue are way to the elbow and up the edge till i found a nice spot to set up for the night. Well what a spot it turned on to be.Thru out the night we went 4 for 5 on swordfish.. 2 making it to the box while 2 others were released and broke off a bigger fish.. at one point we had a double header tuna and sword but ended up pulling hook on tuna under the boat, looked like a nice yellow.. around 5am we had the longfin come under the boat and we kept them there an were able to put 7 longfin in the boat while losing a few other fish during the controlled chaos that was going on.. shortly after the sun came up and the bite shut so we cleaned up a bit an got back on the troll.. headed back out and across an had two lines go down, dropped one an put one more longfin in the boat. Went tried tile fishing only getting 2 and pulled the plug and headed for the barn. The Jersey Jigger Rods and Avet Reels got their work in this trip and were flawless... amazing weather and trip to say the least..
