Miss Belmar - EXCELLENT fishing day & night!
Last night, we headed North in search of large blues. Anchored up and immediately started to pick 10-15 lb blues all around the boat. Later in the night it died out so we ran to the South to try and catch a few more. With the wind and the current, we were able to pick a few small blues before it was time to head home. Our pool winner was a 15.4 lb blue.
This morning, we had fair to good fishing at times. We ended up seeing more small blues along with a handful of bonito. We had a good amount of customers who once they had their fill of blues, opted to pick away at the fluke. There is still plenty of bait to hold the nice area of fish that are on the lumps so come on down with your family and friends and enjoy a trip on-board the Princess! Our pool winner was George Grimes from Peekskill, NY with a 4 lb bonito. *** The morning trip for the Miss Belmar is sold out this Saturday, August 24th. However, she will be sailing for night blues at 7:30 p.m. Any questions, please feel free to give us a call at (732) 681-0030.*** Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. & again from 7:30 p.m. – 2:30 a.m. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it. No other boat comes close. Try us and you'll see why. Pool winner George Grimes from Peekskill, NY.
