Default 6/26 sharking

Headed out of Highlands at 4:30 am. Started fishing at 6:30 with terrible conditions. Had 1 run off that let go before we had a chance to set the hook. At 12:00 we had a fish on, fought it for about 15 minutes and turened out to be a 100 pound Dusky or Brown shark. Couldnt really tell. Nice day in some mid-canyon fishing and as always the Contender handled the snot great

Glad to see you got out, heading back out tonight/tomorrow for a shot. Crew had 3 hook ups today with a 200lb thresher boated.

Good report, I won't put up a thread for what we did yesterday but we ran out to the monster ledge and tried around for around 5 hours, water green gray with an assload of gators eating our baits, used them for bait and they ate themselves!!! Managed one blue dog like 120 or so clipped at the boat, it's tuna time... Good luck out there!
