![]() I was glad we had a marathon trip today and was able to fish off shore out of the current. The fishing was only fair in my book averaging a keeper per man. Of course some had 3 and 4 keepers and some had none. We also had some ling and sea bass to spice up the coolers. Tom Lindemann from New Winsloe NY took the pool with a nice 6 1/2 pound fluke. This was Toms second pool this week. There were other fish over 5 pounds.
All in all it was a nice day with good drifting conditions and plenty of action. Sunday and Monday we sail from 7:30 to 2:30 CHARTER THIS FRIDAY NO GALLEY ON SUNDAY THANKS CAPTAIN GEORGE |

![]() Once again Captain George is being Modest
Beautiful day on the water - absolutley gorgous out - couldnt complain at all The fishing was well Fishing - This was a Deep Water Ocean trip and first one of the year and he is one of the only party boat capatins to do this for Fluke that is why I keep coming back . We gave it a shot went up and down the coast/eastern seaboard of NJ - ( just sounds cool and the truth ) in the deep sticky stuff and basically had a pick of flukies with a couple of tasty surprises = Nice sized knucleheads and ding-a-lings - The fluke was just here ( as far as keepers - plenty of shorts and once again many sundials ) and there nothing like past years at this time in the deep sticky stuff - IMHO they have not rolled into the stciky icky yet - betweeen the inconsistent weather - the flukies following the bait fish/ there food , south wind ( Mother Nature ) and tonight's biggest closest New Full Super Moon = Fishing . I say another 2 to 3 weeks of consistent muggy hot weather - then flukies will be here in the sticky - icky . They are definately in-shore and running closer to the beach Captain George did not stop and this was a search and catch mission that did not dissapoint and his effort and may I say obsession/passion for our flukies and bottom fishing cannot be compared. I degress - Tommy's 6 1/2 lber was cought next to me and was awesome - Miguel great fishing with you and get that guide fixed you it will cut your line anyday on a reel big fish - Patrick I have no words Jose said it all for everyone . Jose I have a new nickname for "Mo" Mr. Magoo - my man can see anybody's line ( that is what happens when you use moss green PP and yes you are not supposed to see it ) and I was dogging his rod tip all day like holyfiled running from Tyson after he bit his ear - Great fishing with you MO and will fish with you anytime next to you again - just busting chops like you busted mine all day - ![]() My googan/hack catch - I had 1 fluke 18"- 1 knucklehead and 2 nice n fat- ding-a-lings - which were very tasty last night - luv those tings Captain G- see you very sooon - off for the next 2 weeks - ![]() Little Joey great fishing with you and seeing you again kiddo - tell your fathers tapeworm - I said hello and sorry I missed a feeding - Dont hate Be Well - Be safe and Fish - On
