passaic 6/20 - 6/22
It feels like the pike a thon all over again I haven't been able to hook up with a pike in a couple weeks. The smallies on the other hand haven't been so lucky and ive been crushing em. Picked up 8 yesterday in pretty swift water and 6 the day before on a bunch of different techniques. Anyone getting on the passaic later today I might take the yak back out again? Or maybe a good lake nearby to throw the yak in I need some ideas!

Havnt hit the river myself since the pike-a-thon. Gonna try to hit it sometime next week. Hopefully ill find some action, it's been a while, lol.
Glad to hear the smallies are active anyway.......

Re: passaic 6/20 - 6/22
Picked up another 9 smallies yesterday with the biggest at an even 3lbs. Also had a few rock bass in the mix and one pike chew me off on a swimbait. I also set the hook on what I thought was a slob SMB and after a quick fight I got it up turned out to be a car headlight haha.

That story reminds me of when one of the guys on our Salmon charter on Lake Ontario fought a down rigger weight for 30 minutes. That was 30 years ago and he still hears about it.
