Default FISH TANK 6/15 Recap - Only 3 words can describe our first hour of fishing..

WOW, WOW, WOW!!! Left the dock at 5:30am, dropped the hook at 6:30am. At 11 mins after 7, Bill Fromkin had his limit of sea bass! Bill is an excellent fisherman, if it swims he can catch it. The other guys including Henry, Scotty, Chip and our new friends Kevin and Jim weren't too far behind.

We mopped up that spot and headed to drop #2. We picked pretty good at the biscuits and also boxed up a few keeper fluke while on the anchor. That did it, they had enough sea bass and were ready to do some drifting and dreaming. I don't mind the drifting, it's the dreaming I don't like.

We had nice life with mostly shorts, but we managed to box some more nice fish. That 4 degree drop in the water temp sure didn't help things. It may not sound like much, but when the water temp is borderline, that is enought to shut them down.

All in all, an enjoyable day with some great guys!

I feel fortunate to have these really good fisherman that fish with me. Guys like Bill, Scotty, and Henry make me look a lot better than I am. Between them and my Great Guide, I can't miss. Ever hear the saying, "God is my copilot"? Well friends, if that describes you, you need to change seats.

God Bless
