![]() Saturday morning, Captain Scotty ran north up the beach and drifted in water from 20’ – 40’ picking away at shorts. By the end of the day, we ended up with a little more than a handful of keeper fluke. Our pool winner was Bruce Black with a 5 lb fluke. We are starting to see more fish and the fishing continues to improve. It’s looking better all the time!
Saturday afternoon, Captain Scotty ran back up north where we fished in the morning. Had a nice slow drift and once again, we were picking away. We ended up with a dozen or so keeper fluke. Sunday morning, Captain Scotty ran north again along the beach with a big crowd on Father’s Day. Continued fishing in the same area and drifted again in 20’ – 40’ water. Saw a lot of shorts and a few small sea bass. Ended up with over a dozen keeper fluke. Sunday afternoon, Captain Scotty ran north again along the beach. There was a stiff southerly breeze which made for tough fishing. Stopped the boat and immediately caught one keeper fluke and picked some shorts. Ended the day with a few keeper fluke. Our pool winner was Mark Cassella from Paramus, NJ with a 3.75 fluke. Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. & again from 1:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. ![]() Saturday morning's pool winner Bruce Black. ![]() ![]() ![]()
