Default Wasington Valley Res

Hit the water today for a few hours, threw the whole tackle box out there (spinners, worms, top water, swim shads) and didn't get so much as a nibble.. Still can't shake the skunk! On the plus side taught the fiancé how to cast a spinning rod and she actually had fun .

Anyone fish there? Any advise would be great! Seams like it has potential.

Yeah I posted about this spot recently. While a shore only locale, gotta be some action.

Just tell people where they can park for starters.

Ya park in the parking lot and follow a number of trails to the pond. Really nice place. Near Bridewater Township off Newmans Lane. Off 22 take Thompson Ave to Chinmey Rock Rd to, WV rd (Left) to Newmans ( a left). Cant miss the PL. You will see the pond on your left as you head to the pond.

Once you get into the parking lot take the trail that makes you go on the right side of the reservoir. Walk about 10 minutes around the shoreline until you reach a huge rock that allows you to put your foot in the water. The rock should kindof look like a L, and it makes for a perfect seat!!! This rock is first rock you see that isnt really far up from the waterline. I typically use senkos and toss them parallel from the shoreline. Once you start fishing here more often you'll know where the fish lay, and what to use.

Have only fished this place once, so advice is limited to early spring, but the dam had a lot of Lilly pad growth and could be a good spot...I caught 80% of the fish there. I would love to have my boat on this pond...will not happen...no access

Going to the left of the pond there is also access, have to go through the weeds and perhaps pick a few ticks off when ya get home.

I fished there a couple times. Big lot for parking with lots of access along the trails. Never caught anything, but I mostly fished in very cold weather. Placed looked fishy though.
