Bottom Paint
Hey Guys ,
Looking for opinions/experience with ablative multi season bottom paint. I put this paint on my boat last season and it looks like I have a good coating remaining on the boat. Ready to splash the boat but not sure what to expect with this multi season bottom paint. Does it work as advertised ? Thanks for your help !! |

Re: Bottom Paint
Yes it does work as advertised.... I've used Interlux and West Marine stuff for many seasons now and all I ever do is touch up a few parts of the hull where the paint has worn through.

Re: Bottom Paint
Interlux Micron CSC is good but expensive, thats what I used the last couple of years. I hear the Pettit Hydrocoat is another good ablative paint. Its a little bit cheaper than the Micron.

Re: Bottom Paint
Yes and West Marine multi season ablative CPP works well too, is less expensive, especially when they have the $50 rebate going and it's my understanding that Petit makes it for them.
