![]() Hey guys,
My buddy and I decided to try and make a "How to" video for throwing a cast net... Comments on what you liked and what you think we can do better for the next video would be really helpful! Thanks http://youtu.be/s453am8gWL4 |

![]() Perfect. Nice, short and to the point. Some peeps get carried away. A good rule of thumb is if you think it's too long, it definatley is. If you think it's too short it's probably just about right.
I like the way he loaded the net.. I've seen other methods and they can get very confusing. Once loaded, the method in which you throw is just as and perhaps even more important. It actually needs to be swung, not thrown for the net to open properly. It's a very similar motion to throwing a frisbee. You keep your feet spread but planted, cock your arms and wrists accross and to the side of your body. You then swing the net out with your arms and wrists. It is this motion that creates the centrifical force to spread the weights apart and open the net.
