Miss Belmar - Friday striper report

Captain Lenny continued to fish North of our inlet today. We were able to pick stripers on some drifts, and on one of the drifts the fish came up on top and we were able to get a shot at them. In the afternoon, the bunker stayed on top and we got a couple more good wack's at them. All stripers caught today were keepers and we ended up with over 30. Crocodiles and hammered golds worked best. Our pool winner today was Paul Groves from Philadelphia, PA with a 25 lb striper. There are still plenty of fish around with a lot of bunker showing up and fishing should continue to get better and better. The weather is going to be beautiful all weekend so come fishing!
