Place to Launch 24 Ft Grady in Raritan Bay ?
Since Atlantic Highlands launch isn't open I want to find another spot to launch the boat. On easy roller trailer with electric winch with 4 x 4 truck but don't need to get stuck on tide change, etc. Please provide contact info for launch if possible. Thanks for your info.

Leonardo would be the closest but their floating dock is not in and you want to avoid dead low tide there for launch and retrieval. 732-291-1333

I know, the Sewaren Ramp is open in Woodbridge. Only a few minutes to the Raritan Bay.

Re: Place to Launch 24 Ft Grady in Raritan Bay ?
I launched yesterday with a 27 Grady at Keyport Municipal ramp mid tide. No issues but no floating docks. Had to walk a wooden ledge on the wall of the ramp out to the end to pickup passenger who parked the car. Certainly not recommended for a novice or children. Load them up before backing down.
Hope that helps!! |
