Default Ocean Explorer Friday

3-22-13 Gusty winds but still pretty nice on the water..Seas only went about 2-3' and fishing was much better today.Ling made up most of the catch,,high hooks had a dozen to fourteen,,maybe a few more but everyone caught some and had fish for dinner..Few Codfish,,,some blackfish again,,,bergall or perch life was decent so overall a much better bite today...The dogfish were a bit of a problem at times,,,you had to take off any high hooks to stay away from em and just fish on the bottom and you did much better.Especially withh gulps,,,I had ten ling in no time at all bouncing the gulps on the bottom..So overall a good day out and the weekend looks like the same weather wise,,,so it should be good!See ya tomorrow..
