![]() Does anyone know about the fishing on Lake Sinclair, GA?
Looking for a vacation/retirement area, and lake house prices there seem pretty good. |

![]() I lived in Atlanta never been there but heard it was good fishing for catfish, largemouth bass, hybrids and stripers. I would be careful though about investing in lake front property in Ga. They are in a huge drought down there and as a result prices of lakefront properties are dropping. I know someone who owns a house on another lake (Lanier) and he has had to move his dock over 100 feet in 5 years.

![]() Lake Oconee or better yet, and your best bet Clarks Hill Lake. My favorite GA lake, lots of huge LMB, catfish(PB channel cat here @ > 30 lbs), SLAB crappie (up to 2+ lbs), and don;t forget those always present hybrides up to 15 lbs.
