Thanks for the informative video.....interesting. The Mote Marine Lab is in Sarasota FL and is a neat place to visit if you are ever in the area.

I always carry the ventafish tool, very easy to use and has the corret 45deg angle needed. Just take of the safety cap and press the plunger till you hear air then stop and hold till air is released and let the fish go.
I like the vent a fish because of the design and easy use.

Good info. Also remember to keep your hands out of fishes gills you plan on releasing. Touching the gills is a death sentence for most fish.
