A little soft water action
The GF had plans, so I had plenty of time to fish this weekend. Saturday I met some buddies at Hopatcong for my first time out on the ice. Was a slow day, not many flags went up. Jigged a bit but had no takers. Lots of others with the same results it seemed.
Today another buddy of mine and I hit up GW for some jigging. Was on the water before sunrise. Jigged up 1 fish around 9am and that was all. Healthy 21" fish. Wind made things hairy, so we headed out around 1pm. Lake and surrounding snow covered mountains were beautiful and no other boats out.
