Thumbs up Lake Ontario Tribs

Posting a report for my fishing partner Mike. Tribs in the Lake Ontario area are on FIRE. Mike, Bob, Yuri and Frank caught over 75 Brown trout today on a SUICIDE RUN!!! All Browns were between 6-15 lbs. They left at 1 this morning and they are now home with sore arms and limits you would'nt believe. Even Bob caught fish, and that in itself is a miracle. The most impressive run of Brown trout is happening RIGHT NOW. Mike has been up there 7 times in the last 14 days catching Trout between 6 and 15 lbs. Heres a few pics- 1st pic is a 3 BROWN LIMIT OF OVER 40 LBS. 2ND PIC IS BOB WITH HIS 1ST KEEPER!!! TIGHT LINES KIDS!!!

Nice!! Looks like some serious fish coming out of there!!! Guided, or just hiking public land?

I'm going to be heading up that way on Wednesday night for a Thanksgiving up in Rome, and that should include at least one day of fishing the Salmon River.

I hope that hot fishing continues until then at least.

I like your style ed, fishing the raritan for stripers to jigging walleye on hopatcong to suicide runs up to Ontario that sounds like a hardcore angler gotta love it. I remember doin suicide runs in the past, takes a certain type to endure them lol. Thanx for the report don't have work till Dec. First and I may be due for a run tight lines everyone.

Thumbs up Re: Lake Ontario Tribs

My buddy Mike fishes up there so much, he pretty much is a self taught guide of the area. We do fish with a guide occasionally, Billy from the Oswego area, hes our friend and fishing buddy so we dont have to pay him. I posted this to give anglers another option for fishing. Maybe some people are not catching much in NJ right now. NY fishing is on fire if you throw a couple anglers in a truck and split the gas its not alot of money for World Class Trout fishing. Dont get me wrong I love fishing here in NJ. NJ is an AWESOME FISHERY, very dynamic. Possible SUICIDE RUN being set up for this saturday into sunday. TIGHT LINES!!!

I'll be up there friday...anyone have egg sacs available tied up there these days or gotta catch/make your own? Suicide run makes that tough and thats our plan for now. Headed west of Oswego.
