Trout angler survey:
The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife is partnering with Responsive Management to survey anglers about their recent trout fishing experiences. The results of the survey will help biologists and hatchery personnel manage the trout stocking program, ultimately improving the trout fishing experience.
Anglers who bought a Trout Stamp in both 2011 and 2012 may receive a phone call asking you if you would participate in our Trout Angler Survey. Please take the time to participate in the survey as your responses will help shape the future of our trout stocking programs. The same survey will become available online this winter for anyone who wishes to participate but was not contacted by phone. Thank you in advance for your time and input on this survey. Together we can make the future of trout fishing in New Jersey even better than it is right now! - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Remember to say NO MORE lake trout, and keep the season open year round, and say NO MORE 15,000 trout annually in the Muddysquan. Thanx for your help. |

Re: Trout angler survey:
Don't forget to give us another shout when they put the survey up. Agree about the lake trout ,caught a few, not much fun to catch and taste like dirt. I like my hybrids, but some browns and rainbows are nice to, especially fall stockers in a month or three.

Flatcreek, they want to know what YOU think. Tell them with all the herring in Spruce Run they should throw a couple of net fulls of browns in there each fall. I mean they toss away 15,000 brown trout annually, might as well put a few in where they may live to grow large. Be on my side, tell them to stock the lower Raritan river too, thanx. |
