![]() Recently decent amounts of young of the year native rainbows have been found in the gorge....I wish this water would become year round NO KILL...New native trout, means stockies succesfully spawning....Native browns have been a fixture for years but good numbers of native rainbows is a super promising thing...Nature will find a way, anglers and regulations just have to give mother nature a fighting chance to replenish herself....Proper handling of released fish would also make a HUGE difference....
If more everyday anglers thought about our fishing resources future instead of living in the NOW, our fisheries would flurish beyond our dreams..... Stronger regulations would help but stronger enforcement would guarantee a better future for this (in my opinoin) struggling natural resource... Just my 200 cents ![]() |

![]() On the topic of stronger regulations, I'd like to see a 1 trout greater than 15" for all of the fall stocked waters.

![]() You know me, if I'm not fishing I'm writing letters to F&G. Attend meetings, contact T.U., find channels to get the point across.
http://www.state.nj.us/dep/fgw/contactform.htm They do listen. Come to Pequest for the spring meeting. |

![]() they should do equal fall and spring stocking so fish can holdover and possibly spawn. I agree totally w the no kill and larger minimums, theres no reason NJ shouldnt have more native trout, its a shame cause there are lots of deeper pools for them to get into to survive thru the summer months.

![]() I do think if they regularly ticketed shore anglers for fishing without a license they could rake in some cash quickly. At least that's my theory with how many numbnutz I've seen at Round Valley fishing without one every summer.

![]() The size and bag limits are fine on trout,if they reduced them less liscenes will be sold and less and smaller fish will be stocked. All 3 breeds of trout are producing fine in the garden state, more trout then you know hold over and they become smarter.
