Fall trout? Where to go?
I've been fishing Rahway, Clark and Winfield heavily in union county.
Unfortunately they don't stock Milton lake, Rahway river or obviously the Clark resi this fall. (Atleast I think). Where else nearby is there good stockies to be caught? I just want a general area I'm not asking for anyone's honey hole. Thanks in advance |

Re: Fall trout? Where to go?
If you don't want to travel, then wait. Echo Lake in Mountainside usually gets stocked for the winter trout stocking in late November. Check the Division of Fish and Wildlife website. If the Star Ledger would ever think to have a fish and game column like they used to when Howard Brant was alive, you could stay informed with lots of information.
